WOOD AND PICKETT 1380cc

This the the latest found in Brunei, it's rare even in the U.K, we found this car hiding somewhere in Jerudong, Its a Wood and Pickett conversion cabriolet, with 1380 cc engine with racing cam installed and has a walnut interior. It was brought to Brunei in 1997 straight from the Wood and Pickett factory. When we found this car it was still in good working condition.

50TH ANNIVERSARY 1959-2009

Its the 50th Anniversary for the Austin Mini, there will be lots of stuff going on this year, last week on the 1st May 2009, Labuan Mini Club had organised a car show in conjunction of the 50th anniversary, this coming 22nd May 2009 it will be held in Kota Kinabalu , Sabah, Hopefully in Brunei it might happen in August this year,

Brunei Mini Owners will have a 2nd mini roadtrip to Sabah as an invitation by Sabah Mini Club, so far there will be three mini and one mini moke is confirming to go on the 21st May 2009, and for others you are welcome to bring your pride and joy(Austin MINI) to go to Sabah. One of the mini that we found in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.. i'm not really sure this car belong to who.. but it's well maintain. we also found out that they have established a club in sabah, which really cool and also there's a few more of this car in sabah.. see ya next time with more pictures ...

Another project has been done, got the ideas from the mini mag, and we bruneians just trying it out and it was a success..... This is the first mini to have a flip-front bonnet.

MINI PROJECT 1

I found this one in Tutong last two years, i started my project early January 2007... its a cooper with sliding windows... condition hmm not good . As you can see it's been left alone under a tree for a very long time.

This picture is taken after 6 mths restoration project... the whole body had to be strip off totally and some parts of the body had to be rebuild back.....

LAMM CABRIOLET

LAMM CABRIOLET conversion they called it back in the UK. The owner Mr.Omar Hj Sabtu bought it off from the first owner. Straight from UK back in the 80's or 90's. Now some changes had been made by the new owner.

TECH SPEC:

ENGINE : 1275 cc with weber

WHEELS : SuperLight 7" deepdish.

BODY : Fully fitted with LAMM bodykits, FLIP-FRONT bonnet.

INTERIOR : Leather seat cover with momo racing steering wheel.

Now guess what, this little blue mini is owned by a lady... well it is owned by Beebz, which was a gift from her husband Mr.Ishak Mahadi.... a cooper automatic transmission. Not much to tell but it is definately the one for her ( Congrats Beebs ).

Body : Still in good condition.

Wheels and tyres : used to be a12' rims but now using wheeler 13' rims

Interior : Standard mini cooper with a few personally design dashboard.

Engine : Twin SU, with 1293 cc

As shown before, this mini is fully fitted with bodykits(design by Hakspeed) which is personally customized by Mr Ishak himself.other specs is a coiled adjustable spring with spax absorber, hella type beam light, 15' rims, tow bar..(i dont know why he had it)

This Mini is owned by Mr.Ishak of Hakspeed Driving School. This is a Convertible Mini Conversionand was imported straight from the United Kingdom which also was originally fitted with bodykits and other upgrades.
